Dracaena Cultivation Worker

What will you be responsible for?

For our client in Monster we are seeking a worker to assist with the cultivation of dracaenas. Such cultivation is a long-term process where every step, from preparing cuttings to planting and packing mature plants, is crucial to the success of the entire operation. By participating in each of these stages, you will have the chance to see firsthand how the forces of nature, combined with advanced technology, create a unique product. With your experience in operating a forklift, you will efficiently transport plants to where they are needed, ensuring a smoothly functioning production chain. Sound interesting? The wage is negotiable, depending on experience and skills.

What do we expect from you?

  • experience in operating a forklift (certificate not required)
  • communicative knowledge of English or Dutch
  • own transportation to work
  • willingness to work in a greenhouse

What do we offer?

  • salary – €13.68 gross/hour (negotiable)

Where will you work?

Our client has 76,000 m2 of greenhouse space and specializes in growing plants – colorful Phalaenopsis and green and colorful Dracaena. In its operations, it uses innovative and pioneering cultivation techniques, maintaining high standards to guarantee the highest possible quality of products. Moreover, the company pays great attention to caring for the environment in its crops, taking real actions such as: using biological plant protection, diverting 100% of the water used, using LED lighting to reduce electricity consumption, as well as using recycled plastic and offering customers paper packaging as an alternative to plastic.
