What will you be responsible for?
For our client in Maasdijk, we are looking for committed and experienced front forklift operators (heftruck).
The work of a forklift operator in a warehouse dealing with the export of vegetables mainly involves the effective transfer, storage and loading of products onto pallets or containers. Your responsibilities will include:
- operating a forklift to safely transport goods in the warehouse
- safe loading and unloading of pallets with vegetables
- correct verification of products, quantities and order numbers
While working in this position, you will also cooperate with other departments and support the packaging department with your work.
Night shift work takes place from 3:00/4:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
What do we expect from you?
- heftruck certificate in English or Dutch (not older than 5 years)
- communicative knowledge of English
- availability for a longer period of time (minimum 1 year)
- experience in operating a forklift (heftruck)
- responsibility and conscientiousness
- from those using company accommodation – willingness to commute to work by bike (up to 10 km)

Where will you work?

Immediately after harvest, fresh produce is transported to the packing house and prepared for shipment to customers. The company has a new and fully automated packing warehouse in Maasdijk, where millions of packages of tomatoes, eggplants, sweet peppers and cucumbers are packed every year.
