What will you be responsible for?
For our client based in Den Hoorn, we are currently looking for people interested in working in pepper cultivation.
As an employee of a pepper growing company, you will work in one of two departments:

greenhouse
-
packing department
While working in the greenhouse, your tasks will include:

taking care of proper growth
-
twisting pepper shoots – the so-called “draaien”
-
cutting ripe peppers with scissors
While working in the packaging department, you will be responsible for:

quality control and sorting of peppers in accordance with the guidelines

packing peppers according to orders
What do we expect from you?

experience in cutting pepper

availability for long term

willingness and motivation to work in the greenhouse

willingness to commute to work by bike (up to 10 km)

salary – €13.27 gross/hour (negotiable for people with experience)

Where will you work?
Our client is a modern company with over a hundred years of experience, specializing in growing and packaging sweet peppers of the Palermo variety. Currently, in their greenhouse in Den Hoorn, they grow 2,000,000 kilograms of peppers per year on an area of over 70,000 m². Thanks to their specialist knowledge and the use of modern solutions, they guarantee the highest quality products that reach the European, American and Japanese markets. In their cultivation, they use innovative and ecological solutions, such as rainwater storage and biological plant protection products.
